Job Title: Accounting Manager

Location: Dubuque, IA

Salary: $90,000 - $105,000 Per Year

Overview: Specialized Recruiting Group seeks a Plant Accountant to oversee all accounting functions including month-end processes, financial reports, reconciliations, payroll, sales commissions, and accounts payable.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare journal entries, GL account, and bank reconciliations
• Compile financial statements and month-end reports
• Maintain Accounting Policy database
• Identify and resolve control deficiencies
• Assist with internal and external audits
• Conduct financial analysis and cost accounting
• Coordinate physical inventory
• Manage payroll and AP functions

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• 3+ years of plant manufacturing experience
• Proficient in ERP systems and Microsoft Word & Excel
• Strong organizational and communication skills
