Behavior Technician – Autism Services (Full-Time, M–F Schedule)
Location: Dubuque, IA
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:45 AM – 4:30 PM
Pay: $20–$21.25/hour (Training wage: $18/hour)

Join our growing Autism Services team at Hills & Dales as a Behavior Technician, where you'll play a key role in delivering applied behavior analysis (ABA) therapy in a structured, supportive, and team-based setting.
π§© What You'll Do:
As a Behavior Technician I, you'll work under the direction of a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to:
Deliver 1:1 ABA therapy to clients with Autism and related disorders
Implement behavior support and skill development plans
Track and document client progress
Communicate effectively with families and team members
Support clients in structured routines, play, and learning environments
β What We're Looking For:
High school diploma or equivalent (required)
No degree required – we provide training and support!
For Behavior Technician II positions - bachelors degree IS required
Must pass a background check free of child or dependent adult abuse
Ability to become a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) within 1 year of hire (we'll help you get there!)
Experience with children or individuals with Autism (preferred, not required)
Knowledge of applied behavior analysis (ABA) is a plus
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Comfortable working with behaviors that may include aggression
Ability to lift up to 35 lbs, stand/move throughout the day, and stay calm under pressure
Valid driver's license and proof of insurance (required for occasional client transport)
π Training & Certification:
Paid initial training at $18/hour
Ongoing professional development and support toward RBT certification
QBS Safety-Care or other behavior support certifications provided by agency
