Client Account Manager

A locally owned and growing Independent Insurance agency in Dubuque, Iowa, is seeking a full-time Client Account Manager to join their team. This role is ideal for a motivated, customer-oriented individual who will manage both personal and commercial insurance accounts, providing exceptional service and promoting cross-selling opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist current customers with policy changes, address insurance concerns, and educate clients on their policies and coverages.
• Upsell current policyholders and identify opportunities for additional coverage.
• Sell insurance across multiple carriers, understanding diverse coverage options and recommending the best fit for clients.
• Work with the personal lines team to grow the book of business.
• Retain current commercial clients by building and nurturing strong relationships.
• Requote rates and provide timely responses to client inquiries regarding policy adjustments.
• Manage both personal and commercial client accounts, ensuring their insurance needs are met.
• Identify cross-selling opportunities for commercial insurance products such as liability, property, and workers' compensation coverage.
• Stay informed about various insurance carriers and their product offerings.
• Answer inbound calls, provide customer support, and assist clients with quoting prices and coverage options.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Property and Casualty (P&C) Insurance license (preferred; willingness to obtain if not already certified, with company support for licensing).
• Prior experience in insurance or customer service is highly recommended but not required.
• Strong sales skills with the ability to meet or exceed targets.
• Excellent communication, customer service, and organizational skills.
• Superior computer proficiency and ability to manage a busy workload.
• Familiarity with commercial insurance policies, coverage options, and industry regulations is a plus.

Work Schedule and Compensation:

• Full-time position, Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM (30-minute lunch break).
• Competitive salary of $50,000 - $60,000 BOE.
• Benefits package includes 50% coverage for individual health insurance, a retirement package with a 3% match, group life policy, and 2 weeks of paid vacation.
