Express Employment in PLATTEVILLE, WI has partnered with a local business in MONROE, WI to search for a candidate to support their business in a DIESEL MECHANIC position. This is a FULL-TIME position.

Job Overview:
The ideal candidate will have expertise in various mechanical systems and be able to diagnose and repair diesel engines efficiently. Primary work is on milk trucks and trailers.

Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance on diesel engines, including oil changes, filter replacements, and fluid checks
- Diagnose and repair engine malfunctions and other mechanical issues
- Conduct inspections to identify worn or damaged parts
- Test drive vehicles to ensure proper functioning after repairs
- Maintain detailed records of all repairs and maintenance work

Skills:
- Proficiency in tire service and air brake systems
- Strong customer service skills to interact with clients effectively
- Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and repair diesel engines
- Ability to assemble and solder components as needed
- Experience working as a Diesel Mechanic
- Knowledge of hydraulics and alignment procedures
