POSITION SUMMARY:

Supports the Credit Union’s Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) function focused on promoting a strong risk culture, capabilities and practices, and integration with strategy and performance focused on creating, preserving and realizing value for the organization.

Salary range for this position is $159,822.78 - $186,851.34 with a progressive benefit package. 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
 Performs essential duties and responsibilities in the following areas which may include but are not limited to those listed and are subject to change.

  1. Adheres to the Credit Union's core values and Service Standards in conducting GreenState's mission and vision.
  2. Demonstrates a positive member service (internal and external) focus at all times.
  3. Demonstrates teamwork in all interactions with coworkers and in the completion of all duties and responsibilities.
  4. Ensures confidentiality of member information.
  5. Supports a diverse and inclusive work environment.
  6. Plays a vital role in enriching the community by participating in community service organizations and/or Credit Union sponsored events on an annual basis.
  7. Meets attendance standards including physical presence to perform job.
  8. Performs a management role in developing various ERM-related analytic functions including but not limited to model risk management, risk appetite/tolerance metrics, cross-organizational monitoring and credit risk analytics.
  9. Facilitates senior management and board-level ERM monitoring and reporting
  10. Oversees the development of enterprise-wide policy metrics and tracking.
  11. Supervises the ERM Analytics team.
  12. Independently completes other ERM-related activities as directed by the SVP/Enterprise Risk Management and/or Chief Risk Officer.
  1. Bachelor’s degree (BA or BS) in a data analytics-related field or equivalent work experience required.
  2. Ten years of overall experience in credit union or financial institution within a similar role/function and demonstrated increasing level of responsibility.
  3. Prior management experience preferred but not required.
  4. Ability to build and manage a high-functioning cohesive team.
  5. Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
  6. Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  7. Ability to create relationships across each level of the organization.
  8. Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet established deadlines with a commitment to service.
  9. Ability to analyze and solve problems independently and maintain control in high stress situations.
  10. Ability, availability, and willingness to work additional hours as demanded by the workload.
  11. Must be bondable.

Reports to the SVP/Enterprise Risk Management.

This position is responsible for the supervision of others.
