E-Commerce Merchandising Specialist

Specialized Recruiting Group is seeking an E-Commerce Merchandising Specialist on behalf of a local company. This role is responsible for enhancing product visibility, presentation, and performance across digital platforms. The ideal candidate will have experience managing online storefronts, optimizing digital product placement, and utilizing analytics to drive sales and improve the customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and enhance product data, ensuring accuracy in imagery, descriptions, specifications, and pricing.
• Optimize product placement, categorization, and cross-selling strategies across platforms, including Amazon and other e-commerce channels.
• Utilize analytics tools such as Google Analytics or Adobe Analytics to monitor product performance and implement data-driven improvements.
• Collaborate with Marketing and Inventory teams to ensure promotional readiness and stock availability.
• Conduct routine audits of product content to maintain accuracy and alignment with brand standards.
• Work with vendors to source high-quality product content and assets.
• Align website merchandising with broader digital marketing efforts, including mobile apps, email campaigns, and social media.
• Continuously test and refine product presentation to enhance the user experience.
• Track and report on product updates, promotions, and performance metrics.

Qualifications

• Two or more years of experience in digital merchandising, product management, or a related field.
• College degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field preferred but not required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with content management systems (CMS).
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and implement recommendations.
• Familiarity with website analytics tools such as Google Analytics or Adobe Analytics.
• Experience developing and maintaining an online storefront.
• Knowledge of digital product placement and promotion, including cross-selling strategies on platforms like Amazon.
• Strong attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
