Dining Services Assistant / Environmental Services Assistant

Position: Full-time, Every other Weekend rotation

Schedule:

  • Week 1
    • Monday 5:00AM-1:30PM (Dietary) 
    • Tuesday 3:00PM-11:30PM (Housekeeping) 
    • Wednesday 10:00AM-6:30PM (Housekeeping)
    • Thursday 6:00AM-2:30PM (Dietary)
    • Saturday 10:00AM-6:30PM (Dietary)
    • Sunday 10:00AM-6:30PM (Dietary)
  • Week 2
    • Monday 6:00AM-1:30PM (Dietary)
    • Wednesday 3:00PM-11:30PM (Housekeeping)
    • Thursday 10:00AM-6:30PM (Dietary)

Wage: Starting at $16.44

  • Weekend differential rates of $3.00 per hour 2nd shift differentials of $2.00 additional per hour between 2:00pm - 10:00pm

The cook position partners with roles within the agency to bring quality food options for our residents with various dietary needs.

 

Responsibilities:

Dining Services Assistant:

  • Prepares meals and snacks according to menus, diet orders, and recipes.

  • Sets up, portions, and delivers food and beverages to designated areas.

  • Prepares and delivers water and formula feedings; ensures cleanliness and stock rotation.

  • Maintains inventory; stocks, rotates, and stores food and supplies properly.

  • Cleans kitchen and dining areas; washes dishes and disposes of waste appropriately

Environmental Services Assistant:

 

  • Cleans and sanitizes facilities, including floors, restrooms, and equipment.

  • Restocks supplies and handles laundry and trash removal.

  • Performs light maintenance and seasonal tasks (e.g., painting, snow shoveling).

  • Assists with setups for events and resident moves.

  • Follows safety protocols, reports issues, and maintains confidentiality.

 

Requirements:

  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Ability to lift 35 pounds is required. Standing, bending, lifting, stooping, grasping, pulling, pushing, reaching and moving throughout areas as required.
  • Free of conviction of prior employment history of child or resident abuse, dependent adult abuse.
  • One or more years of cooking or dining services experience preferred.
  • Valid driver's license and eligible to be a qualified driver for Hills & Dales per company policy.
