How can you make an impact?

As a Manufacturing Project Manager, you will be exposed to all areas of McGraw Hill’s integrated global supply chain organization. This includes forecasting and inventory planning; global sourcing and contract management; logistics optimization and management; product distribution and labor planning; project management; business process design and improvement; quality management; spend analysis; and supply chain analytics. You will be working in one of several functional roles with a highly experienced team as we continue to refine our supply chain strategy, optimize the supply chain footprint, leverage integrated planning, and manage operations to ensure that our integrated supply chain remains a strategic asset.

 

This is a remote position open to applicants authorized to work for any employer within the United States.

 

What you will be doing:

  • Evaluate and manage supplier relationships, including qualifications, performance, and pricing.
  • Support contract management through new supplier onboarding, amendments, and compliance tracking.
  • Assist in defining product specifications, selecting suppliers, and submitting purchase orders.
  • Coordinate production schedules with third-party manufacturers and oversee inbound and outbound logistics.
  • Partner with Demand & Supply Planners on forecasting, inventory analysis, and performance reporting.
  • Conduct data and financial analyses to inform business decisions and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Prepare and present supply chain spend reports, KPIs, and performance metrics for senior management.
  • Provide operational and analytical support to cross-functional and project teams to ensure seamless execution.

 

We are looking for someone with:

  • Entry level with preference for 1 or 2 years of experience in Supply Chain and/or Finance.
  • Associates Degree required preferably in or with a concentration in Supply Chain, Finance, Operations or Data Analytics.
  • Solution-driven customer service mindset with the ability to multi-task and work agilely within tight deadlines.
  • Strong critical thinking and creative problem-solving ability.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work well independently and in teams.
  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills.

The pay range for this position is between $54,600-$75,000 annually. However, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location.  Additionally, a full range of medical and/or other benefits may be provided, depending on the position offered.
