Accounting Coordinator

Job Overview

Westmark Enterprises is looking for a highly detailed, and customer service oriented, professional to join our team as an Accounting Coordinator. The primary responsibility for this role is to perform general accounting duties to assist with accounting close and general accuracy of financial information. This position will work in the home office in Dubuque, Iowa.  Salary commensurate with experience.

Responsibilities of the Accounting Coordinator!

• You will prepare and post recurring journal entries
• You will perform various reconciliations
• You will monitor and offer ideas on processes and procedures to try and maintain efficiency, accuracy, and compliance with internal controls
• You will maintain customer exemption certificates
• You will apply daily cash/check and ACH payments and prepare bank deposit

• Someone who can assist different functional areas within accounting as needed when workload increases
• Someone who can review exception reports and perform reconciliations
• Someone with great verbal and written communication skills
• Someone with an associate degree from a two-year college or comparable experience
