Job Summary:
We are seeking an Experienced Crew Member for our Directional Drilling Crew. This position plays a vital role in the installation of underground utilities using Horizontal Directional Drilling (HDD) methods. The ideal candidate is physically capable, safety-focused, and eager to learn and grow within the utility construction industry.
Key Responsibilities:

Assist in the setup, operation, and breakdown of directional drilling equipment.

Excavate, trench, and backfill job sites manually or with small equipment as needed.

Handle materials such as conduit, cable, piping, drilling mud, and tools.

Support bore crews with drilling fluid mixing, site prep, and equipment movement.

Maintain clean and organized job sites and equipment.

Follow all company and industry safety protocols, including PPE use and safe excavation practices.

Use hand tools and power tools as required.

Spot and assist operators around equipment and in traffic areas.

Work outdoors in varying weather conditions and travel to different job sites as required.
Qualifications:
Required:

Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Ability to perform physical labor for extended periods (lifting up to 75 lbs, digging, standing, etc.).

Willingness to work in outdoor environments and in all weather conditions.

Strong work ethic and positive attitude.

Ability to follow directions and work as part of a team.
Preferred:
-
Experience in underground utility construction or directional drilling.

CDL Class A (or willingness to obtain).

Knowledge of safe digging practices and utility locating.
Working Conditions:

Outdoor work in variable weather conditions.

Physically demanding tasks including lifting, bending, digging, and standing for long periods.

Travel to local and regional job sites may be required.
