Specialized Recruiting Group has an exciting new job opening for a Maintenance Technician!

Location: Dyersville, IA

Responsibilities:

• Conduct regular maintenance on systems, machines, and equipment.
• Repair broken or malfunctioning machines and equipment.
• Perform machine maintenance and work with technicians if needed.
• Handle machine tool repairs and rebuilds.
• Work on special maintenance or repair projects.
• Perform routine preventative maintenance.
• Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, and test machinery.
• Calibrate tools, equipment, and machines.
• Install new equipment and make modifications as needed.
• Assist with general, ground, and facility maintenance.
• Collaborate with production team members and management.
• Stay updated on maintenance and repair technologies.
• Assist outside contractors and resources.
• Provide technical leadership and train apprentices.
• Serve as a backup for Maintenance Technician II.
• Complete work orders, records, and safety documents.
• Adhere to safety and OSHA regulations.
• Operate material handling and powered equipment.
• Troubleshoot complex machinery problems.
• Follow Lock Out Tag Out procedures.
• Work overtime, off shifts, and weekends as needed.
• Perform other tasks as assigned.

Requirements:

• Strong mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and blueprint reading experience.
• Technical understanding and experience with maintenance and tools.
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Flexible hours and availability for off shifts and weekends.
• Strong computer skills.
• Forklift and aerial lift licenses.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Knowledge of safety and OSHA regulations.
• Strong organizational and follow-up skills.
• Ability to read and interpret documents and schematics.
• Ability to solve practical problems and handle stress.
• Ability to assemble and disassemble mechanical and electrical devices.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and in cross-functional teams.

Salary: $20-$25/hour
