Location: Dubuque, IA

Shift: 1st Shift, Temp-to-Hire

Position Overview: Join a dynamic team with this exciting opportunity as a Paint Equipment Technician. You'll play a crucial role in maintaining and refurbishing paint equipment utilized by a well-known home improvement retail chain. This position offers a chance to grow within the company and involves both technical and travel aspects.

Key Responsibilities: As a Paint Equipment Technician, your responsibilities will include:

Disassembling and rebuilding paint equipment units to ensure optimal functionality.
Conducting thorough testing on equipment to guarantee reliability and performance.
Replacing faulty or worn-out equipment components.
Traveling to various locations within 500 miles, occasionally requiring overnight stays.

Schedule:

Monday-Friday hours between 7:00 am - 5:00 pm.
Overnight Monday-Thursday, home on weekends.

Compensation:

Starting Pay: $18/hr, increases to $20/hr when trained.
Opportunity for advancement upon completion of training, including travel incentives.

Qualifications: To excel in this role, candidates should possess the following qualifications:

Mechanical aptitude and a keen eye for detail.
Previous experience with equipment maintenance or refurbishment preferred.
Ability to travel and work flexible hours, including overnight stays.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
Excellent communication skills.
